Glad you’re doing what you can to manage through this time, sounds very sensible. Take care and stay safe xxDebt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167
Debt free Feb 20214 -
Very, very quick update as I MUST go to bed after this.
LMG and I are both well. I am working from home with full pay and will be for a few months they reckon. LMG is furloughed still but will likely be going back to work this month.I have been putting extra funds towards the loan each month (bus fares/hairdresser/a seminar that got refunded/etc). I am waiting for funds to arrive in my account that I uplifted tonight and when I transfer them to the loan tomorrow I will have approximately £4,550 left to pay which is 34 months. I have pulled my DFD back by 8 months! (Well on track to win the secret competition 😉).
Mortgage is down to £87,410.There has been no chance to put anything into savings.
Healthwise, the dietician contacted me and gave me some information with regard to my food and nutrition. I have managed to put on half a stone in 11 weeks (good for me), just another stone to go to be in the "normal" category but it's really hard work. I'm stuck again. I am drinking loads of water and have spent a lot of time in the sun. Not done a huge amount of exercise but not beating myself up about that. The grocery budget is really hard to keep under control. I can't go to the shops so LMG is going for me. She knows the brands (shop's own) that I like and she knows I try to get as cheap as possible but at the moment this is sometimes impossible. The last shop included a bag of rice. I usually get the savers stuff but she couldn't get that so instead of 40p it was £2.50. I had to cry in private. I probably would have just left it but she's buying off the list I give her and we're meal planning together so she doesn't deviate from the list.
I hope everyone is well and safe xxMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76

Thank you @beanielou. I quickly scanned through almost 100
pages of your diary last night. I'm glad you're still plodding even if times are not easy.
