Boyfriend made us a curry tonight. He's pretty good at them so I really enjoyed it. We've had a lot of stuff going on separately recently so not seen each other much. Tonight was really good quality time.
Went to Asda for some groceries (I buy specific stuff from there that I can't get from my usual supermarket, hence the shopping card for cashback). Spent £23.75. I don't need anything else from there this month now so I'll only be in and use the card if I'm chumming someone else.
There's £88 left in the cash grocery budget and £8.75 left on the Asda card. I get paid two weeks today. I don't have a meal plan in place for next week yet so that's a job for Sunday. £88 is plenty for two weeks.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Well done on going through your budget and working out where it went wrong. If it's any consolation I overspent in Jan too. Hopefully we can all have a better February.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well I ended up in Asda today (again) after all. Chummed my sis as she needed a couple of bits. I got three items off my grocery list for this week and nothing else. £5.50 off the Asda card which leaves £3.25 on it. Still got £88 in the cash budget and three less items to buy.
Boyfriend made tea again tonight. Chilli nachos. It was lovely, again, and I really stuffed myself which is never my best idea. Off to the folks' for tea tomorrow night so that's another meal I don't have to worry about.
I have done the majority of the meal plan already so just two more meals and a shopping list to complete tomorrow, along with just one laundry load (bed sheets) as I did a load earlier. I cleaned out a kitchen cupboard earlier too so I need to wash the containers from that. I'll do a bit of reading tomorrow as I'll probably have some time to myself so it won't be too taxing a day.
We've booked the hotel for boyfriend's brother's birthday next month. £31.50 for the night between the two of us. I usually give him £20 towards petrol (it's in a different city and we drive) so if I give him £5 we'll be square.
Think I better get some sleep now as I'm pretty exhausted.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
