I need to remember to call CMS though!
Definitely. She has been at the restaurant for three years now (short couple of months' break when she was trying out a job in the industry she was studying in but the restaurant she works for took her back when she decided she wanted to go back) so that is a decent length of time to show on her CV.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Okay, I've swapped to Google Chrome on the laptop instead of Internet Explorer and I can now see the layout properly. It isn't always convenient to use the laptop (I don't carry it around with me) so when I'm on the bus, etc, I will need to persevere with my phone. Please excuse any typing errors, I've spotted some layout errors when I've used the phone since the new format came into play. I may not always be grammatically correct but I do give it my best effort!
Ah! Smileys are back
It was lovely to have my niece for a sleepover last night but I'm glad I had LMG when I was younger. It's hard work with a three year old in your 40s. Her Mummy picked her up about 1pm and I am now recovering before I do anything else. I've done some money shuffling but mainly done nothing since they left.
I've got a seminar in March which gives me 5 CPD hours. My work don't pay for it because it's not relevant to my job (I work in a different sector now) but I need to attend to keep my qualification so that's £70 plus £18.50 train fare. I'll split it between February and March's (predicted) "found" money.
Financially:
- I had to spend £10 on groceries yesterday as I ran out of a few of things I needed for tea last night. Cash grocery budget now £111.00, Asda card £32.50.
- I transferred £50 from the "found" money to the loan account as I'm sure I'll reach the £150 target for this month and the sooner I get payments across to the loan, the better.
- Loan balance (including the £50 off) = £5,346.39
- Mortgage balance = £87,520.00
- 40 months left of the loan to pay so new expected DFD = 01/06/2023!
(this is great because I'm sure Boyfriend's loan is due to finish around the same time. I've pulled this back from 01/12/2023 so shortened it by 6 months and I'm only just a year into it. This means I'll definitely win the competition!(Reminder - Boyfriend doesn't know he's in the competition

If anyone figures out the multi quote then please let me know.
Just done a grocery shop for the next few days. £23. It's supposed to be a week but boyfriend doesn't have his kids this weekend which usually means we do something together and I've cooked the last two meals we've had so I'm predicting that he will suggest something at his. Trouble is I won't know what night until the night before at the earliest. I like to plan things in advance (even when my meal planning was out the window I still had a fairly good idea what I was doing, just wasn't so well in control of the costs) but he just goes with the flow which is really inconvenient for the organised part of my mind. Still, the grocery spend was below the budget so there's some left just in case.
Talking of boyfriend and his plans/non-plans, he has managed to tell me that his brother has invited us out for his birthday night out next month. We went last year so I know what to expect. He lives in a different city so we need to book a hotel. We are always welcome to stay at theirs but with my health stuff I prefer to stay somewhere I have a bathroom nearby that I don't need to share with the whole family. We have stayed a few times so we know what hotel we will book and we know roughly how much it will cost, he's told me the date and, as I said, I know what to expect. I'm quite calm
about it all. I'm delighted that he has told me this far in advance as it means I can keep some money back each week from LMG's digs to pay towards it.
Financially:
- £23 transferred to cc account from cash grocery budget so £88.00 left in there and £32.50 left on Asda card.
