ITV player advert problems driving me mad

Hi, new here, and can deffo confirm that the ITV hub is still having issues with the sound, watching Corrie this morning, advert starts, sound ok, then sound goes crackly then goes off, next advert the same again, and so on, again programme was ok until just before advert break, I turned the ITV hub off and restarted it, still the same, so much so as to not be able to continue watching.
we have never had any issues like this before with ITV hub on any TV, so it’s odd that it’s now just started,
has anybody had any updates from ITV ?

Hi i have sought of the same problem with 32 Toshiba tv . It plays the ads and when the program comes back on I have a black screen but the sound is still there and I have to go back on my remote  and press play again and it comes back on again from after the ad this happens on every ad , only on ITV hub  has anyone had this problem.

So figure this one out - my parents have the same Toshiba tv as my...ok not quite as there’s is 49” and mine is 32” but both Toshibas with 8 months age between them (49” is older).

When ITV Hub is played on the 49” there are none of the common sound issues highlighted by folks on here.....yet....the 32” has that same frustrating last 10 second ‘silence’ before the adverts then kick in then when they do, for the older ones amongst us....it’s goes all Norman Collier.

Any ideas?

I pity the companies who advertise too  - paying ITV for a full advertising service to viewers which doesn’t happen.

Has anyone managed to resolve this ongoing issue?  

I have two JVC’s and a Hitachi TV, and have the same audio issue as everyone else and have done for the past 20 months.

17 months since the last post on this topic, is everyone still having the same issue?  If not, how did you fix it?

I can’t even get the subtitles to work so I can’t even read what is being said for those vital last 10 seconds before the ads.
