Cannot find a thread on it, and I suspect most users of this forum will be ineligible, but HSBC are offering £175 to switch to them from today (£75 for their lesser account)
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

You cannot have been a customer with them since 1st of January 2017 well that rules me out!0

Sounds good to me, the standard bank account will do me for £75 free money and no minimum pay-in.0

I switched away from them in March 2017,is there any chance the switch offer may still wriggle through,or am I wasting my time?0

You’re asking in the wrong place.
But probably no.0 -

And standing orders will do for the switch - doesn't need to be direct debits
Just set up some dummy SO’s with a start date sometime in the distant future.
That’s what I did and it worked.0 -

Trouble with trying is that you might be able to open an account but not get the switch reward - this means you will now have been a customer since 2020 and if in the future they have another offer with say 2018 as the date you won't qualify!0 -

Same here. I've been keeping an eye on their T&Cs, they are slowly moving forward that date. Hopefully by the end of the year we will be able to take advantage of the switch offer (it will go and come back again).0 -
Does anyone have a more specific timescale than "within 30 days" for the incentive to be paid?
