I’m definitely going to track where my free money comes in 2022. I’m really interested to see what’s worth my time and what potentially isn’t.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

It was very interesting! The trouble is, unless you're also keeping a record of the time you spend on each, it's very subjective. I know the things that don't take me much time (Shop & Scan, Consumer Pulse, Vypr etc etc), but I've no idea how many hours I might have spent on Nectar Canvass, Qmee and the like. I'm just going by how I felt in the moment - which was "more hassle than it's worth"!
I am going completely the opposite way for 2022, though - no tracking whatsoever 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I find the tracking to be too much hassle, although I'm sure it's interesting. I do have a record for some of it though as I have to create an invoice for the things that pay in cash (no tax-free digital earnings allowance when you're self-employed
). I think attitude to the different things also depends on whether they can be combined with other things - e.g. Onepoll is great for doing whilst in a queue, waiting for the kettle to boil, and (sorry TMI) on the loo! Whereas Qmee etc. often take longer than they say they're going to, so you can't guarantee you'll be finished when the kettle has boiled...

I find it I don’t track I it, I don’t do anything at all. Although, I am only tracking the money actually hitting my bank, so it’s hardly taking much time!2025 decluttering: 3,802🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I do very little now to generate "free" cash because I can't be bothered. I do however play whatever version of bejewelled on maximiles because I would play it anyway and the ads make me stop playing for too long. I am obsessed. Don't judge me. I always use cash back sites.
I used to do a lot of it, I don't know why I turned off of it.3 -

It does eat up a lot of time for little reward, but sometimes needs must. I would love to give up, but now is not the time!

😀DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
