I sent an email to see if I could sort out the refund... I am not feeling very "peopley" today and so a phonecall will only stress me out. I shouldn't need to call a company so many times to get what was agreed
- oh I can feel myself getting all antsy already haha

Don't know if any of you have read the millionaire next door, but apparently a lot of millionaires do get second hand cars!4 -

I have read The Millionaire Next Door (in hotel dining rooms, as I was on a long spell of working away at the time). Didn't get much from it though? Possibly why I'm getting a new car in March 🤣😳!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I found it to be interesting considering what the researchers were thinking at first (putting on the fancy spread for the first interview) and then what they actually found (they didn't like the posh tiny sandwiches). I'm not sure it's that useful, just love reading how the researchers changed their view point. However I did read it at age 20 so it might just be remembering the joy of reading it at a young age.4

Another one here who doesn't like calling people. I usually go straight to Twitter to resolve my CS issues, may take a little longer but you get a good result most of the time. I'm not one of those who publicly tweets at companies though, I make sure to DM them which I think they appreciate more 😆Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173

I'd forgotten the bit about the buffet! Not that they'd learn much from me by that - I'd just be troughing everything in sight, regardless of how it looked 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
