And while I'm at it with the monthly round-up, I've hit the free money target for the month today so I'm giving myself tomorrow off!
The scores on the doors are:
£0.43 bank account interest
£0.82 TopCashBack
£2.00 Lidl coupon plus (largely thanks to BF requesting items and bumping up my spend 😀)
£2.00 Storewards
£5.00 i-Say
£5.00 Vypr
£5.00 Huyu
£5.00 Shoppix
£5.00 Amazon reward for streaming music
£5.00 online discussion group about cruising
£10.00 cashed-in Nectar points
£11.40 Panelbase
£16.49 Qmee
£23.25 Prolific
The target was £91.83, and just squeezed in there with £96.39
Next month's target = £91.32Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

Looks like you have done excellently to me!! Plenty of good things in there, and you've exceeded your extra income target, hooray! Great work!2

You buying clothes isn't necessarily bad thing. You don't buy £90 of clothes every week or month, whereas I used to have a colleague who "invests" in high end shoes, so gets 2 £600 shoes a month!3

Well done on all that extra income. I think I will copy you and set myself an extra income target. How do you decide on your target?£60,000 left to pay

Ooh, thanks you lovely lot, you're very sweet 😀 £600 on a pair of shoes though, KP 😮! Not sure I've spent that much on footwear cumulatively yet!
The target was completely randomly plucked out of the air Poppycat. I thought it would be nice to get £100/month, so £1200 total for the year. I had a really good January and February, so they've brought the total target down nicely and the monthly average needed to achieve it 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

£600 on a pair of shoes is mental
But different people, different priorities!
Your patience is incredible.3 -
And every month I come on here and try to get her to raise it. Come on SC £100 target for April. 😂South_coast said:Ooh, thanks you lovely lot, you're very sweet 😀 £600 on a pair of shoes though, KP 😮! Not sure I've spent that much on footwear cumulatively yet!

I'd say a C- for March rather than a D - you're being too harsh on yourself 😂 Well done on hitting the goals though and treating yourself to some new stuff. I've bought a few things on Vinted and depop over the weekend because I've realised that I also needed to up my clothing game if I'm going to be working from home on pretty much a permanent basis - I want to feel comfortable but also good at the same time. Think the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes was £150 on my walking boots so that shows you my priorities when it comes to fasion 😂Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173

). I need new walking boots, I tried to economise last time and only paid £89 - they didn't last a full year, so it's back to Meindl this year. Last time I bought them they were £130, but that was 12 years ago and they lasted 9 years, the same boots are now £230
.But £600 a month on shoes that are probably painful to wear?????2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8566 -
That's an awful lot on shoes!! My walking boots were from a charity shop, which probably shoes you how much serious hiking I do 😂A lot of our daily strolls i do in rigger boots 😂1
