That episode was made in 2019. For some reason they stopped showing it part way through the season. Sunday's was ep 3 of season 21. Ep 4 (last of the season) is next Sunday. There was way too much hugging for it to be new. Hopefully they will be able to do a new season later in the year. Got my fingers crossed!

Yes, I think the end of that series has already been shown in America, but only now showing it here 🙁 I always have my fingers crossed for more 😀!
Must admit, the longer Covid goes on the more I find myself thinking "Not much social distancing going on there" whenever I see shots of things like crowded pubs in TV dramas - even on ones like Inspector Morse which were filmed in the 80's and 90's 🤦♀️!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Oh my goodness that video was phenomenal! She is such a wonderful lady, off to watch all her other videos and follow on social media.....
Thanks for sharing.1 -
Ooh, I shall have a watch of that when I get home tomorrow (at BF's at the moment and he would be raising his eyebrows 🙄). I'm still just about in the under-40 category too 😳 so all good!

I watched quite a few of hers yesterday! I think I like it as she just seems like a normal person if that makes sense.3

Watched the vid while BF was cooking breakfast 😀 Very interesting, certainly brings the target number down! Just not sure I'd be brave enough to just trust it to do its thing and not add more 🤔!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

For me it is scary to invest rather than save. I had a little look on the page on here about stock and share ISAs and I'm quite frankly terrified! We're in our 30s so we've got time and I'm not looking to retire early, just to be able to work part time and travel in my 50s and 60s.
I watched her video about what to do with £1000. I might put that much into a Stocks and Shares ISA and see how that looks in a couple of years.2 -
I haven't watched any others. I prefer to read rather than be talked to, but that probably means I'm missing out 🤔 Maybe I need to expand my horizons!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Right, have done some back of an envelope calculations, and if I can get to £90k invested in the S&S ISA by the time I'm 45 (plus pay off the mortgage and do the refurb) then theoretically I could coast the rest of the way.... That actually might be do-able!
Still sounds like a lot of growth in not very many years though 😮 Although I wouldn't be giving up saving then altogether, just switching to the cash saving phase, so theoretically that means more cash in the bank and sooner, so I could pile some into the S&S if the figures were looking iffy (or if the market drops and it looks like a good deal - although that would require a whole other level of tenacity!)
Anyway, must stop getting ahead of myself 🤣! Short-term goals:
1. Pay off this year's 10% allowance on the mortgage when the year resets on 29/03
2. Review wage slip when it arrives on 30/03 and work out how much more I can overpay this monthMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
