I have been tempted, Sammy! Trying to be sensible though, after being out of work for 3 months last year showed me the importance of an EF. I definitely would be leaning that way if it wasn't for the need for the refurb though. At the moment, once the mortgage is done I'll be straight on to saving up for that - if I had to postpone that for while until I'd built my EF back up I would be extremely frustrated!
Having said that, the ERC drops from 3% to 2% in April, which takes it lower than my interest rate of 2.58%, so I may then decide to throw caution to the wind!
Main MF excitement at the moment is waiting for my car insurance renewal to arrive so I can see the maximum amount it's going to cost and work out how much will be spare so I can pinch it out of the pot....😀😀😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Free money going terribly so far this month - only £7.73 😮! I've been Nectar Canvassing like my life depended on it, but they're being very slow with adding the points - only £2.50 available for this evening's shopping, rather than the hoped-for £5.00. They'd better credit some more by Sunday, as staying at home means that's my last shopping opportunity again until next Friday!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well done on getting your mortgage so low! Really proud!2 -
Thanks KP 😀
No idea on the money, just not very much about - and what little there is around I'm being screened out of! Plenty of time to recover though, and if One Poll pay up my £25 that will go a long way towards the target....Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
