Hi everyone - ive only just read your whole diary so I thought id come in and say hi! its been really inspirational reading your diary - my mortgage is much bigger but 1st Jan just seemed like a great time to really take huge chunks out of it. I think I can clear it in 16 years if I keep my eyes on the prize at all times! but having places like this with likeminded MFW really helps!
BTW - I'm #1 in my local sainsburys for roll on deodorant so feeling pretty fragrant about that! and my top three are dog food, dog food and milk - which is a little dull!
FYI - I'm also south coast - but in sunny Worthing, not sunny today though....actually getting dark now at 2.25pm!
Mortgage start date Dec 2019 - £217,000 MFD Dec 2034

Hi tudorfan, thanks for stopping by - I hope you haven't really read the whole thing though 😮😮😮!
Ah, Worthing, very nice. Think I've been through there on a bus a few times many moons ago 🤔 V impressed with the top score for deodorant - much better than smelling of the dog food 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

So still no notification from the bank that they've changed the mortgage payment 🤔 Oh well, the money for the original payment amount is there ready so I guess I'll see what they take at the end of the month (I could just ask them, but where's the suspense in that 😀!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

In more concrete news, the savings for the LISA transfer in April are coming along well - just £64 to find now. Working from home at the moment is definitely helping with this, I'm transferring £10 from the petrol pot every evening as a little reward to myself 😀 Much more fun to spend the money on savings than (literally) setting fire to it! So should definitely be sorted with this by the end of the month, then it's back to OP's!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
