I'm now trying to think of some obscure item I can specialise in buying to try and top the league table next year (not that ketchup is particularly obscure, which makes it all the more mystifying!)....
I shall be so disappointed if they don't repeat this next January 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

It just like Pointless, who can top the table with the most non obscure item...If it's not adding up, compound it!5

I don’t shop in Sainsbury’s anymore but the year before I was number 1 for mayonnaise! I love the stuff!5

Gah! I've just remembered (no idea why, just the random way my brain works I guess) that I paid an arrangement fee when I re-mortgaged after the initial deal expired - that's another £995 on the "Total amount paid to mortgage" figure 😮 It didn't show up on the bank statements as I paid it on my credit card (for cashback, natch 😀)
Off to update to show the correct figure....this borrowing lark gets more expensive all the time 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

My mind has just gone to all the things you wouldn’t want to be in the top three of buying, most of them down the cosmetic / drug aisle. 😂DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I don't shop in Sainsburys often, but my top 3 are Serrano Ham (top 11 buyer), Butter Mintoes and a particular brand of crumpets.
Very random!Mortgage Free November 2018

I bow down to you @greent that is an amazing achievement

I've also just received my "year in sport" from Strava and well I only ran 3 times all year because my ankle gave out after that
And I never share my Spotify year summary because I don't listen to cool music - last year I was the number one listener for a very obscure 60's band that my dad loves and has taken me to see live more times than any other band I actually like

Blimey, I wouldn't want something telling me how much exercise I'd done over a whole year 😮😮😮! Ignorance is bliss I think!
And serrano ham, Staffordia - very la-di-da 🤣 This (and branded crumpets) are the type of things which can be splashed out on once MF then 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
