Not sure I have enough for 1 a day SJ, I do want to have some stuff left!
BM/SH - They said on the news there is talk of criminalising the act of not staying at home when instructed to if the request isn't followed 😮 Not sure what the penalty would be though - house arrest, hauling you off to prison to coop you up in close confinement with lots of other people, or maybe an electronic tag (but then someone has to get close enough to you to fit it)? You'd better crack on with buying the whisky BM, there were a lot of people buying booze when I went to the shops tonight.... I'm OK, thanks to the gifted stash, a birthday and BF ordering MORE wine (although that's at his house), but am struggling to buy mixers! Neat it is then....Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Oh, and we are still going to be allowed outside to exercise, so they're not reneging on the entirety of the health advice we've received for the past x-many years - we're just not allowed out to buy food 😂!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I'm really not sure how a lot of businesses will survive this 😦
In other news, currently on hold to h0tels.com. After my request to postpone my booking due to Flybe was rejected, the hotel sent out a blanket email saying they would accept requests for changes due to coronavirus. "Great" thought I, "there's more than one way to skin a cat", so emailed the hotel as requested but got response to say h0tels needed to authorise it. Spent 50 minutes on hold to them yesterday afternoon, the number wasn't connecting at all in the evening and their live chat has been taken offline. Looked up 2 email addresses for them, but both bouced straight back with replies to say they weren't monitored and directing me to their phone number 😯 Woke up early and couldn't sleep so thought I'd try them again, but 34 minutes in and it's not looking promising. Did reply to the hotel last night to tell them that's all well and good if I can actually get through but am running out of time to keep trying as booking meant to start in 2 days and their email mentioned nothing of third parties so please can they honour their original (and unsolicited!) promise to me. Think I'm going to hang up now and see what response that garners during waking hoursMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Just saw an article saying gun sales have soared in the US in response to the situation. Yep, that'll do the trick....😡

My thoughts exactly 😦
I've changed my mind, it doesn't feel like a war. It's more like a nuclear incident, except it's one we had a bit of time to prepare for by looting the shops. We're all going to lock ourselves inside and come out bleary-eyed and blinking in a few months' time to survey the tattered remains of our country and wonder how on earth we are going to rebuild itMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
