South_coast said:And just to prove that point, I've spent quite a bit of time last night and this morning trying to do some Swagbucks surveys so I can get to payout and scrap it. Screened out of every one. Just went into Qmee for the first time in probably a week - 59p in 9 minutes. Now safely in my bank account!2025 decluttering: 3,984🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Thanks DFOD, you too 😀
I did look at the video thing on Swagbucks Jess, but it wouldn't let me proceed without being connected to WiFi (and I was not using my precious time at BF's watching flippin Swagbucks videos!). I knew I couldn't be getting the best out of it as a) people on DFW seem to get loads from it, and b) they kept filling my inbox with emails about functionality I wasn't using! Still, I managed to get to payout by doing the daily polls, receipt scanning and getting screened out of surveys, so it's now gone 😀!
In other news, Nectar Canvass doesn't seem to have got the memo re cheese buying tomorrow - screened out of 15 surveys in the last 12 hours and only one completed. Total earnings 25p 🤣! Although one was declined because I hit the "next" button too quickly and said I was 3 years old 🤦♀️ so I'll let them off that one!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I have whiled away a few hours today trawling through old bank transactions as I was curious how much I've actually paid off the mortgage as opposed to how much the balance has decreased by. The total is £60,156.26 so far 😱 If interest and ERC's weren't a thing, I'd have a balance of £5338.74 right now 😮! I've added it to my signature to remind myself that I've put more into it than the headline figures would suggest!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well that’s an interesting comparison! 😳

Thanks Vix, hope you had a good one.
I was quite surprised actually. I thought I would have already completely paid it off by now, so it was (a smidge of) a pleasant surprise to know the costs aren't adding up to as much as I thought!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Great news being mortgage neutralInteresting to hear that you and others have given up on swagbucks, I did too. I kept trying to do them and getting booted out. Not fruitful at all. YouGov are sending me hardly any surveys to do now too for some reason??Wishing you a happy and relaxing holidays.ElmoR xx5

Thank you both 😀 I'm not truly neutral in the sense that the savings are earning more than the mortgage is costing, as the savings interest is pants and so is the mortgage, so perhaps that's a vote for attack the mortgage 🤔? No, must stay strong! I have a plan and I need to stick to it!
I don't get much from YouGov either ElmoR, although I had one which arrived on I think Christmas morning and I did it yesterday. The excitement of this morning so far is £1.43 on Qmee for a single survey 😀 Only took about 10 minutes too!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
