No need for me. I'm on the ground floor, so it's sat on concrete and each foot is (somewhat bafflingly) resting on a brick. Not much chance of it dropping in those circs!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Right, question:
I've earned a virtual Mastercard for doing a survey. I've used a chunk of the balance and there's £5.01 left to spend. So far, so straightforward. However, am I right in thinking that I wouldn't be able to use the rest of the balance as part payment for something? My assumption is that if I try and use it to buy something of a higher value, I'm just going to get declined for having insufficient funds available - I've never seen a checkout page where you can pay using more than one card?
All thoughts gratefully received, I've never had a pre-loaded card before so not 100% sure how they work!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

yeah from experience you can’t use two cards online to pay for something. I get virtual card payouts from profilic so just use them to buy Amazon gift card credit so they just sit in my Amazon account ready for when I need something from there.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Ah, good thinking ladies. I'll give that a go 😀
Speaking of Prolific, it really is crackers sometimes. I've just watched a man do a very lame magic trick for £1.20 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Big revelation this morning. If I add up my EF, money set aside for 10% OP's in 2021 and 2022 and all my other savings pots - I am mortgage neutral 😀! Academic really, as I am NOT (putting it in caps so I listen to myself 🤣) going to raid all those sources to pay off the mortgage, but it's exciting to think that I could!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
