Just saying hi - very busy at work again, so not much slack at the moment.
End of month juggling all done but helicopter view not detailed. Looks OK for March, not quite as much paid off as I hoped but heading in the right direction. CC2 (0% BT May 21) now down to £3K which a couple of payments and my EF (if needed) will see off so no worries there. CC3 (0% Purchase for 16 more months) took a bit of a hammering upto £9K with normal spending and some odd things for the family and a (limited period only) discounted Sains grocery voucher from my work scheme - so £20 extra saved, but £500 spent ahead of need. Plus will have another work attendance payment in March which will be £200 and will help
weight is still flat and steps are low - but spring is in the air so all fine there.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

All looking good. Your weight will shift again as the weather invites more activity. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Win some lose some - needed to replace OH Laptop as hers gave up the ghost big time - she needs a big screen for crafting and her zooming, so CC3 took another battering this month. Managed to save £40 by shopping around, so Unlucky Tax £600 FEB bonus £40.
Will still be DF this year but its just a bit one thing after the other, and we still have some MOTs to get through. I'm hoping that as we as a family have done so few miles there shouldn't be much different from last time, but time is not the friend of older cars.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Unlucky tax indeed. I had to do the same last Sept/Oct. It doesn't help that prices have gone up either due to C19 and brexit. We've had to replace a microwave £84, 2 wired in smoke alarms £93 and 3 ensuite light fitting system £66 in 2021 and we're only just into March. I feel your pain - and I'm more grateful than ever for having an EF.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So philosophical question, is it one thing after the other?, or is it the same thing over and over!!

I think all of these things must always happen - just in the past they were an utter disaster. Now we have an EF they are barely a ripple.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
