So Day 4 is today - I am only weighing in once a week (Mondays) so no interim reports, but foodwise still going well
* Week 2 Day 3 - Breakfast: Cheesy Bacon Lettuce wrap - Lunch: Chocolate Slimfast - Supper: Goat's cheese Fritata* Week 2 Day 4 - Brunch: Bacon and Broccoli - Supper: Turkey Fajitas
Today was also a smug day, in that I had spent so little on my CC (I use it from time to time when I have forgotten my debit card, but never intentionally) that I could pay it off before payday means next month should also be good for Mr OD who seems to be a long way away today.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Great news on the OD/CC.
Love that you are sharing the meals on the planIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Paying things a month ahead (ie using last months salary (or earlier)) to pay this month is a big thing on YNAB, so although I didn't get on with the software that seems to have struck a chord. But that said, I'm not taking it literally, and any balance over £200 at the end of the month is heading CC-wards. Why £200 well it feels like a buffer to avoid a quick dip into OD on months where I have more fixed costs. Will see how that goes
Hope the meals don't get too boring for you all - let me know, certainly during the weekdays there will be a lot of repetition. but part of the secret is finding something that works for you and just doing it, until you can't face it - and for me that's quite a high bar. OH and I are trying to make the weekends a bit more varied so lets see how that goes
I am trying to be strict once a week weighing in, but certainly feeling less heavy and more energetic, just did an hour gardening, to catch up on that. Forecast to be really nice tomorrow as well so will try an get tidied away for winter, so that any sunny days from now on in can be enjoyed no guiltI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
