Glad you had a good time. They are all the good things in life in a list...well, if I swap beer for wine...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you all - it was a nice break. My next one will be in September when I start part time, basically taking a long weekend, but not taking any holiday allowance. who knew!!
Weight wise I am still drifting down but very slowly - nearly at 100kg now which will be a stone and a half since January. Not feeling thin but its better off than on
Just finished watching the Tour De France (on telly) as they climb the Col Du Tourmalet - now heading out for a cheeky cake and coffeeI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

Thank you @Humboldt - Sunday night deals sounds good. That would be - have a weekend equivalent (Fri/Sat) doing the domestic pleasures and chores, then have another, holiday but heavily discounted, weekend break (Sun/Mon) without bothering with the boring week of work in the middle. There are plenty of places within a couple of hours drive for us so as not to spoil the trip with too much driving
In terms of weight, I am delighted to announce that standing on the scales (decently but not totally clothed) my weight was 99.95kg - so thats the 100kg target ticked off. My next one is 200lbs which is a further 20lbs or 9.2 kg. so that will take me till Easter or a bit later if Christmas undoes me as usual. My final target is 180 lbs although I doubt that is achievable - I have promised my friends I will send them a clip of me on the scales shouting ONE HUNDRED and EIGHTYYYYYY as they do on the darts!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Sounds like you've had a nice break.
We've been looking at a trip to York for a few days when our son goes on his first school trip in September, will have a look at the Sunday deals after reading this.
Well done on the sustained weightloss - brilliant achievement and will be long term beneficial to your health too.2 -
