Lovely few days away. Sunshine and beer, coffee and ice cream, walks and fish and chips plus met up with some friends from Northern climes which was lovely.  Not too extravagant either - a bit rowdy in the evenings compared to local to me.
Morning @mark55man Sunshine and beer, coffee and ice cream, walks and fish and chips - Perfect! Pleased that you enjoyed your time away.

Glad you had a good time. They are all the good things in life in a list...well, if I swap beer for wine...

Glad you are doing okay. A trip to the seaside sounds refreshing.

Thank you all - it was a nice break.  My next one will be in September when I start part time, basically taking a long weekend, but not taking any holiday allowance.  who knew!!

Weight wise I am still drifting down but very slowly - nearly at 100kg now which will be a stone and a half since January.  Not feeling thin but its better off than on

Just finished watching the Tour De France (on telly) as they climb the Col Du Tourmalet - now heading out for a cheeky cake and coffee
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Hi @mark55man, time away without using holiday allowance is such a revelation.  Don't forget to seek out those  Sunday night deals.  Weight loss is weight loss, regardless of the amount.  Well done you.

Sounds like you've had a nice break.
We've been looking at a trip to York for a few days when our son goes on his first school trip in September, will have a look at the Sunday deals after reading this.

Well done on the sustained weightloss - brilliant achievement and will be long term beneficial to your health too.
