Hello - another 2 weeks gone

My FIL sadly has passed so we were busy looking after him and each other, and now we are dealing with "stuff".

We somehow managed to clear out another room completely for the handyman to come in and redecorate on Monday (he had a cancellation and gave us a deal to fill in the gap on his schedule as we weren't really ready!!).

Money wise still OK - Project4000 broadly holding, although not been front of mind recently.

Weight wise - managed to lose the holiday excess although very unhealthy eating while we have been all over the place.  Doing a fair amount of walking but regular gym going as elusive as ever

Steps - 1.4m since end October - so a bit weak.  I might make 1.5m in the year since I got my Garmin - certainly something to improve on next year.  Daily average 4000+ not absolutely terrible but that's all you can say for it

OK - that's all will try not to leave it so long next time!

Thank you for your kind wishes - we're OK, sad but OK. Life is back to normal really apart from related admin and planning.  Who knew it was so complicated - but quite educational - will definitely put the skates on getting all my stuff in order as the FIL had made it easy for us with his detailed planning much of it from a decade ago

Room 2 decoration is on hold as our handyman couldn't make the slot as his original job re re scheduled back so we now are in 50:50 state with the target room empty, but with some if its contents moved into the kitchen and lounge and getting in the way a bit to be frank.  Will hold him to his discount price and he has the decency to be a bit embarrassed!!

Also - I finally cancelled the gym - I had tried to reduce my membership to off peak, but they made it so difficult that I just quit - which was surprisingly easy - but all in all £300 of lazy and stupid tax. Its sunny today so will go out for a walk while its pleasant.
