Last weekend for my Olympic-athon.  But have got other things to do, a bit of shopping with the youngest and partner and some admin.

Weight - level since last week
    Steps - 1,16m since 1/11/23 - average 4000 a day couple of days at 10000 this week
Project£4000 - 75% spent with 3 weeks to go, but almost everything is discretionary now
Gym - 1 from 7 - on advice have been doing running (walking!) machine using the slope to add strength

Been busy on the pension front.  Basically making some fund changes to focus on income from the pots I have rather than going for any more growth - so a little more cautious as well but not entirely risk free but happy with it. Starting now to build up my cash reserves before I start taking it next year.  That will avoid using up any of the capital (or only a little)

Cheeky mid week weigh in as I've been quite strict so far this week and was rewarded with getting under 240lbs so a loss of 18 YTD.  1lb more and I will be back at 16.13stone yay. Its still a lot though I will be happier at 15st and delighted at 14st but those are a long way away. My ultimate target is 200lbs

Doing great on the weight loss. Slow and steady wins the race.

Does your gym offer inductions or planning sessions? They could help you with strength based exercises as Alt says its good to keep your muscles strong as you get older.

Strength is so !!!!!! important mate, alongside the fat loss, don’t take it the wrong way but rn you’re probably too big. Read an article today about two major points of decline at c.44 years and c.60 years, at first they thought it was women with hormones but when they did further testing it’s us blokes as well, so we all need to look after ourselves in “middle age”. Fml makes me !!!!!! cringe even thinking I’m at that stage (44 in November idk). Anyhow, the study found a massive loss of muscle mass and tolerance for booze c.44 years and risk of poor kidney function c.60 years, something else too but I can’t remember what. Basically, you need to look after yourself mate as the training can halt these points of mass decline.

Another week, first of my mini breaks a visit up to my FILs House north of the border. been mainly wet so far but sunny this afternoon so will pop out for coffee and cake. Was a Long drive but not too bad.

Money is about £400 left for the week, which will be more than enough - I will transfer next "salary" up in a few days to make sure its ready for all the big outgoings after next weekend.

Weight going well - have some new meds that are diuretic so feeling a little dehydrated - will wait for all that too balance out before I report back but I have hopes

Coffee and cake after rainy days sounds pretty essential.

    Weight sounds promising...
