Morning @mark55man great to read that you had a good holiday. I find reporting on my healthier lifestyle choices keeps me accountable. Oh the joy of children, whatever their age!2

Thank you @Humboldt
Our youngest is trying living with their partner - so its very empty nest at the moment.
Busy helping with the election and am getting my steps in. But will be more orderly after the 5th July.
Thanks everyone for their interest but I know politics isn't everyone's bag so am keeping quiet (MSE Martin likes it that way too)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Politics isn't everyone's bag, but it affects every aspect of our lives. Good luck with your election endeavours and getting your steps in.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have watched every election since I was a teenager. I stay up all night watching the results roll in. I told a relative about my election geekiness and they will be staying up with me this yearIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. doingitanyway said:I told a relative about my election geekiness and they will be staying up with me this yearThat is lovely! I can totally empathise. We will all be up together, separate, but united in our democracy geekiness. Mr F-H has his bingo-card of current and former Education Secretaries ready. I am prepared to be utterly useless on Friday but I am pulling an all-nighter too. I love a swing-o-meter.It will be interesting to see the actual turnout % though, I already know a couple of people who do not have acceptable ID and are too erratic in their lifestyles to get their voting ID card sorted in time, despite being offered help, and they do actually want to vote this time. Our poll cards have arrived in good time, at least.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
