Found a new function on my step count watch now a Garmin (I swapped away from Fitbit as they kept breaking) that gives a year count. Currently baselined from November 23 when I got the watch. Now up to 605K steps for the year so not good for target but now averaging 40000 a week. And often topping 10K. So that's good for me.
Still enjoying my time off, and OH is somewhat recovered from her viral thing, but still low on energy so just chilling when I am not out leafletting.
Weight is staying steady, but none of the kids came to pick their easter eggs up so we have been timing them out one by one
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Well done on the steps. Glad your OH is recovering albeit slowly. Steady weight better than increasing weight...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

glad to hear OH is recovering
Our household has just gone through the virus stage, luckily I managed to avoid it just about, but OH was really ill.1 -
Sorry to hear that Dan - tell your OH not to try to do much too quickly although I know that's easier said than doneI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

OH recovering is good news.
Leafleting is no doubt helping with steps.
Glad you are having the chance to chill with OHIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

DIA - thanks it is getting a bit full on with 5 days to go, but my job was a bit like that so I can sustain quite high workloads for a few weeks then I collapse - just this time I will be collapsing into a few months off !!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Good you have true relaxation to look forward to. Presumably though that is also going to coincide with your trip to another time zone?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

yes SH that's not long away - really looking forward to being warm - sizzled and sozzled (both within reason). I love the Aussie mantra slip slap slop (slip on a T Shirt, slap on a hat and slop on the sun cream)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Have a good time in Aus. Can't say I've ever fancied the flight and time zone difference personally, maybe one day but would have to be at least three/ four weeks I think.0
