Egg and Bacon for Brunch both days this week - a bit repetitive but also a bit fantastic!!. Supper on Monday was Fish curry, yesterday was a cold collation (for cold read lazy). Tonight its meatballs in sauce with veg
Steps - have been using up some of my surplus to have a couple of rest days. but hope to get some more tonight when I walk to se a friend.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

So slightly under average steps over the last few days, one 10K+ but the others at 3K - which is better than before when a lazy day would be only 5-600 !! Plus - only a brisk walk away from solving the problem
Food has been erratic as work and community stuff has been quite demanding - meatballs and sauce was my last proper meal, the rest has been quick fixes, and that's not sustainable. Came very close to a donut, but swerved to some comfort jaffa cakes. Not the greatest slip up - but dangerous territory
Money slipping away on non-essentials but as I posted in SH diary, sometimes non essential spending is essential. I have more savings than I am used too and got to be careful that I don't erode them away. Which is why I like regular savings - you can't spend it if you can't get at it

Happy weekend campers
Plan today is to do absolutely nothing this morning - but drink coffee, listen to the radio and read. I promised myself to read a little more this year and its very hard to do much else in parallel!! So I have had the kindle out and whizzing through the pages (quickly as I have font size large as I'm getting old and my eyes are weak
This afternoon my OH is meeting with her old uni friends so I will head off to the gym for a long slow jog (tempted to try outside but its not nice out!!. Then will do some hobby admin and have a couple of boys-night in dishes that are diet compatible and will be some combination of tins and spices that need used up and things not to her taste. Cheap for sure and hopefully tasty/nutritious.
Money wise been exploring budgets, and despite inflation am going to try and live of the same as last year and dump as much as possible into regular savers. Getting impatient for my N/Wide ones to finish for last year so I can start the new ones.
Still have a giant frog of decluttering - I'm not sure how that is going to et done - and I know one bit at a time is good advice, but its just become a block really. Out of sight - out of mind - is not the same as out of the house!!

I'm with you on the reg savers. It's good the interest rates have gone up - although they could fall again too.
Enjoy your non-essential spending. It's all a balance anywayAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Supper wasn't quite so dreadful as feared, as I forget we had some leftover curry frozen - so that went down very nicely. I'll save the tins for another day.
Good session at the gym (just treadmill) did 5K in 49 minutes 58 - will be a long time before I am in the 30's but I believe it is possible. Unlike being under 30 which is surely impossible.
<Snipped our little bit here on forward plans - possibly over sharing - sorry>I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Today has been hard at work day, but still from home, so went for a quick walk around my route that gets me close to target and my everyday steps got to 7K+. Bit chilly out.
DS2 has his +1 round for a couple of days to save costs from bouncing the 5 miles between them. Not far but neither can drive yet.
Food today has been more sausages (we cooked too many and then no one else wanted them) only 2 to go - I'd give them to the dog if we had a dog - but not sure the kitties could manage it. Tonight Chilli and then tomorrow pork and leek with apple and sour cream (one of my faves)
nearly humpday so then we will be near the weekend!! still love a good weekend me, even if there is not quite so much excitement as back in the dayI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Am on a streak of 5 days above my target steps figure (just under 7000 a day to get to 2.5m) but none over 10K - feels like a sweet pot an hour of walking and some general activity - I will try for a run this weekend, but not feeling 100% today so won't over do it
Have been eating better - Chilli (no rice), chicken curry and porridge in the morning. Trying to shop smaller but more often, also trying to use discount cards and coupons a little more
House is quiet this weekend, so determined to get something ticked off the chores list - even if we don't have the foggiest what to do first. I'm sure we will decideI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
