I love a bracing day (as long as dry) by the seaside, and that's what I did yesterday. We went to Whitstable with friends who needed to pick something up nearby rather than pay excessive delivery so we all piled in their estate, had a long seaside walk with a slightly upmarket lunch en-route (not Oysters but everyone else did) - plus ended up dinner for 4 at £40 at a chippy type place with eat in pretensions and a gr0up0n deal - was fabulous day - and only slightly non diet compliant (chippy chips!!)
it was relaxing and fun. I do love the seaside and seaside towns. A walk by the seaside is always a bit more of a walk than a walk in the countryside is.

So nesh was a new word on me, but if you are nesh then a difficult balance between the cold and the crowds. I've always thought that a sunny day at the coast in Feb is a rare gift that makes up for the colder days
Weigh in this morning another 2lbs off. Slightly surprised given the weekend was not 100% on plan. So that's 4kg down 16kg to go (2 and a half stone in old money). I've been near there before, so will get there again 200lbs or bustI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
