So today have used a nice piece of fabric to make a throw for sofa.Just had 2 hem four sides and ready to go. It will be great for extra warmth, a thick wool fabric. Total up to 42/150 so well om track.

Been quite a productive day today, finished knitting a trauma blanket this morning, but not finished it yet.

Also made 5 thank you cards for the charity I'm Treasurer of. Every time we get a donation I like to send a handmade thank you card.

    17/100

Well done loopychriss - you are storming along -its great to see your stash busting is helping good causes x :T:T:T:T

    Hi

Would love to join if possible, think I did a few years ago but fell off the wagon big time:(. Really must stick to it this year though as far too much fabric, and also dies and stamps use only once or twice. Have taken two large bags of yarn to charity shop as pains in hands make crochet difficult now. Would like to commit to 52 items this year initially, and nothing new except glues, thread and card blanks if I run out. Fingers crossed!

Of course you can clodagh trubble. Its great to have you onboard. Don't worry I first set up this challenge 7 years ago and have tried it every year since and never actually completed it after falling off the wagon in spectacular fashion each year :D:D:D

Well done on admitting that you will not use the yarn again. You are doing better than me - I do not knit or crochet but just cannot bare to get rid of all the wool I have accumulated throughout the years :o:o:o

I cannot wait to hear all about your stash busting creations :j:j:j

What a fabulous use of your stash :T:T:T - you have got me thinking now about the uses for all my fabric stash I have. Even I might be able to sew around the edges (cannot guarantee it would be in a straight line though) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You are zooming towards your total so quickly - its fantastic - really well done :T:T:T

I've finally had a very productive day and am declaring 52 items towards my total all made today.
They have not actually busted lots of my stash but I have made them all from my stash and as my target is so high I am definitely going to count them all:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So today I have made:-

50 mini friendship seed packs for an urgent order (these used 9 sheets of cardstock, 4 packets of seeds and some double sided tape)

1 x order book for an order (used up a spiral binding, a sheet of cardstock, and A5 sheet of paper and lots of copier paper)

A box of Positivity for an order (this used up 4 laminating sheets, 4 sheets of cardstock and a plastic box)

This little flurry of activity on my part takes my total up to 78/2020 :j:j:j

Thanks. I love to re-cycle and make do and mend.
So today i have cut the neckband of a jumper dress as it had stretched looking really baggy. I remodelled the shoulder line by pulling it up slightly and then reattached the neck band. I then put tape from my stash to make it look neater. So a new from old and really pleased i have saved a fav item from my wardrobe.
    Total to date is 43/150

Me again - just popping in to declare one more make - this time its another order book so not much stash used again but at least one sheet of cardstock and a spiral binding are gone :p

My total now stands at 79/2020 - slowly, very slowly my target is getting closer :D:D:D

    Its me again:D:D:D

I've just felt the urge to make something so am declaring a further 2 makes towards my total.

I've made two cards using toppers I bought in the December sales and kraft card blanks I have had for ages. I also used some scraps of paper, cardstock and ribbon and added a couple of gems for extra stash busting so my crafting goodies are going down very slowly :j:j:j

My total now stands at 81/2020 so I've gone over 80 makes now. Only 1,939 to go :eek::

  • Yay Craftingmad, you're getting there!!

I've just finished two more trauma blankets that I knitted yesterday, both decorated and sewn up now.

Might have a rest from them tonight and do something else instead, I've got enough to choose from!!!

    Total 19/100
