Yesterday I knitted, decorated and finished another trauma blanket, even using a couple of the new things I bought in The Works.

Hi everyone, sorry for being missing for the last couple of days - my son hurt his foot in between Christmas and New Year and it turns out it is actually broken so have spent the last two days back and forwards at the hospital first with him having a boot and now a plaster cast.
:(:(
On the plus side it has kept me busy and stopped me from buying new supplies. :j:j:j On the downside I have not really had much time to make anything either:(:(
However I am declaring a further three makes towards my total as I managed to make three social media notebooks for customer orders so my total is still moving (albeit very slowly) in the right direction.:D:D
I am now at 27/2020 and still no craft spending so its official that I have managed my first week not adding to stash :T:T:TMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Massive fail on the no spending this morning. The Works had loads of embellishments reduced to half price, so I'm afraid I indulged in £5.25 worth to decorate my trauma blankets with.
I bought them specifically for this purpose so they will get used up over the next few weeks, plus bits already in my stash. Slapped wrist!!!!
Far too much of a bargain to miss loopychriss and you have a project for them to be used up straightaway so you are most definately forgiven. Keep up your amazing work with the trauma blankets. You are an absolute angel :T:T:T
Well done on completing so many more:T:T:TMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Wow, everyone so busy. I have had a very quiet couple of days and hardly done any crafting. So many WIP that i have't a clue what to finish first.
Quiet days are great rosie51 and an ideal time to recharge your batteries so do not feel bad.:):)
I too have lots of WIP's and ideas of things to make that I am struggling with what to start first so you are definately not alone:D

Completed another craft. Moved from liquid soap to bars to reduce single use plastic, but bars go soggy just left on the side of the sink so made myself a soap dish

Hi,
I would really love to join, I craft with my mum and we have set ourselves a #useupthecraftstash challenge. I hadn't thought about it terms of numbers of makes before.
Maybe 52? one a week shouldn't be too bad...
thanks!0 -

Been quite a productive day today, finished knitting a trauma blanket this morning, but not finished it yet.
Also made 5 thank you cards for the charity I'm Treasurer of. Every time we get a donation I like to send a handmade thank you card.

Hi
Would love to join if possible, think I did a few years ago but fell off the wagon big time:(. Really must stick to it this year though as far too much fabric, and also dies and stamps use only once or twice. Have taken two large bags of yarn to charity shop as pains in hands make crochet difficult now. Would like to commit to 52 items this year initially, and nothing new except glues, thread and card blanks if I run out. Fingers crossed!0
