Hi all,
found another program that passes Comodo's firewall test you all may want to try.
It's Free and made by On-Line Armour.
Link is below

I prevented Comodo from accessing the internet using Armour and unlike my last firewall which will soon get uninstalled, it prevented access.
Hope you all find this usefull.
Ain't using Comodo because I have tried it before.
Hated its pop-ups.
Alternatively go to download.com and look up firewall software.

Just come across this blog this morning:

The problem with Comodo v3 is that (using the default settings) it ASSUMES that every program on your PC is perfectly safe - offering virtually no outbound protection at all. If you are behind a router, you already have inbound protection, so using a default installation of Comodo is probably not that useful.
By changing the default settings (disabling "Defense+" and setting the firewall to "Custom Policy Mode") I have been able to get Comodo working very effectively and passing leak tests.
However, if Comodo has been installed for any amount of time with Defense+ enabled or if the firewall has been set to the default training mode, it may have already added rules to allow potentially unwanted applications from connecting to Internet resources.
Although Comodo seems to be a very capable firewall when correctly configured (and the best free one that I have tried recently), I think the default installation options ought to be changed or at least made A LOT clearer...0 -
I wouldnt like to try the comodo leak test myself as im quite wary of it as it may just fail you anyway because the user settings and I would rather trust the GRC site and all passes ok with that.
And TBH I find comodo quite slow on start up so you would need a start up manager to get it to start first or by the time your connected and the firewall starts up maybe something could of got through anyway.0 -
Well, I tried installing Comodo on my new pc and immediately internet access was denied to IE.
As far as I could see, the only good thing about Comodo was the efficient uninstaller!
Am now waiting with a pathetic Windows firewall in operation... for Online Armor to develop Vista compatibility.0 -

I cant understand why it wont install on your PC as I have installed it on many Vista PCs, maybe you should try this http://www.pctools.com/firewall/ as you have 32bit Vista0 -
In reply to my query of 29-11-07 to Comodo support.
I received an email this week from Comodo suggesting I uninstall, and instead download and install Comodo 3.0.22.349.
I shall be letting them know that I am very pleased with Online Armor Free which I've found to be light, quickly learns and works straight off.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Due to getting constant pop-ups of my memory running low (background thing I think this is)despite having 3 quarters of my HD free, I have decided to remove Online Armor.
I am hoping this to be currently only temporary.
Disabling the thing did not do the trick for me.

Low memory would be unrelated to your available hard disk space. In this case "memory" probably refers to RAM (i.e. volatile memory) as opposed to disk space (non-volatile memory).0
