As far as we know it’s being done today, but not heard anything yet. It’s been a long 3 weeks now since application submitted! When was your valuation, keeping fingers crossed for us! ��������

our valuation was done on 30th Dec -- since then having anxiety and sleepless nights :eek::eek::eek:

Oh bless you! It’s horrible isn’t it, did you do it via a broker? If so, have they said if the valuation went ok? I doubt we’ll hear anything today I was hoping we would have the offer the same day but doesn’t look like it now

Heard from broker, apparently Santander have queried why we changed solicitors long story short when we reserved our newbuild the developer gave us the info of the solicitor they use and after a week of emails and voicemails the solicitor never got back to us so we chose a different one and updated the forms with new solicitor and this is going to hold this up yet again, it’s taking forever!!

oh wao it never stops surprising me !!!! why they have to hold on just querying back about change of solicitors clearly it is not linked at all !!! I am also waiting to hear from them .. and yes indeed it is taking forever ..
did they tell your broker how long will it take them to issue offer ? have they requested any further paperwork ?

I honestly am surprised how long it’s taking! We used help to buy and I thought that would take longer but that was sorted last week. They just asked the broker why we changed solicitor and now it’ll take up to 2 working days to change it, surely some people don’t even have a solicitor until they have an offer?! As we were going to wait but decided to maybe help speed things up we instructed the solicitor last week also but nothing is moving along it is painful! No idea when we’ll get the offer but the valuation was definitely carried out yesterday that’s all we know so far. It’s now 3 weeks ago the broker submitted mortgage application. Any updates for you?

no updates from ours as well. Broker submitted further paperwork on 31st Dec and mentioned turn around time is 5 working days which are going to be completed tomorrow. Lets hope for the best !!!

Have you heard anything?? Still impatiently waiting over here! Last we heard anything was our broker on Monday said about they wanted to know why we changed solicitors and would take 2 working days to change it and that was 3 day’s ago.
