I've been going to auctions for about 20 years, a full set used to go for about £150+ nowadays an auctioneer is lucky to get £25, single ones even turn up in £5 mixed boxes.
It's the same with Royal Doulton ladies or Wedgwood Jasper ware.
I think I've mentioned before I'm from 'The Potteries', our charity shops are full of Doulton, beautiful tea sets for a fiver etc It's sad really. I have a box full of my late Mums figures in the loft. They have no value other than sentiment. Such a shame.0 -

Putting them back in the loft is not an option as we are looking at a major de-clutter pending possible downsizing. May look at a collection only and also investigate gumtree.
