Hi can I just ask when you got your renewal form?
My PIP award is until mid may 2021 when can I expect my renewal form is it a year or six months in advance?
thanks0 -

Pain in the butt it took so long, as we may not get a new Blue Badge before the current one expires (8-10 week lead time our Council say).0 -

6 months before and not 12 months if you were awarded by DWP. If you were awarded by a Tribunal it's about 14 weeks before.

poppy, mine was awarded by tribunal, and the letter from DWP confirming award states they will review 12months before end date so I am confused. No way could they send form, arrange an assessment and come to a decision in 14wks, very worrying.

If a decision isn't made by the time your award ends, if you're successfully awarded again then it's backdated to the date it stopped. If you read your award letter it states you'll be contacted after a certain date, it's doesn't actually say you'll be contact on that date.1

PIP REVIEW just arrived through the door and as I've never had a review?
When I was awarded my pip I had a
5 year award ,so as I said have not had a review ,so I was wondering if anyone had any tips for this form ,they don't give you much room to write any answers down ,I know I can use exstra sheets ?
I have exselent medical records to back up anything I say on the form .
Because I have every hospital letter sent to me by post from my specialist , pain management consultant, and any other medical people I deal with if they write a letter about me I want to know what is says,I know a lot of people don't do this because when my down hill journey started in 2009 I asked my consultants any letters I want a coppy of please ,he told me a lot of people don't ask because they don't know they can, sorry I've gone off topic PIP REVIEW FORM has anyone filled one in that can give me any pointers please .
Thanks Tim. Posted

19/02/20.It would have been better to start your own thread with this question. Asking a question on someone else's thread causes confusion because people read the first comment and answer that.To answer your questions, you need to fill out the form with as much information as possible about how your conditions affect you, Then add a couple of real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you. Use extra sheets of paper if you need to but put your name and NI number on everything you send.Go through the evidence and only send what's relevant to your conditions and how they affect you. Sending huge amounts of evidence that isn't relevant isn't helpful because chances are it won't be read.If you don't have enough time to return the form you can ring to request an extra 14 days. Expect another face to face assessment because most people have them.1 -
Thanks poppy 12345 .
I've never been on here before this is my first time.0
