Hello everyone...
Another case won with the help of the beautiful people in here thank you very very much.
Ok thats out of the way I'm try and explain what happened in few sentences
We were expecting a phone hearing at 14:00 today but the claimant didnt communicate with us at all. So at 13:30 i tried calling the court no answer i ended up sending the an email, at 15:20 we get call from the court on the mobile (wasn't phone number provided for the telephone hearing) bit weird.
They apologised for the delay coz the busy . asked if i was ready i said yes had to pull over.
The judge i think it was . Asked few questions and then asked if i would like to add anything else. I said im cool. He hmmmed for few seconds and said will ring you back.
A lady ring back with in 15 minute and said the judge decided to strick the case out and that i will get confirmation via mail. That was it. Forgot to ask about my cost!
Well great result......but i dont understand i thought the claimant was responsible to arranging the call but didnt get in touch with me prior and i dont rememeber given my mobile nimber to niether them or the call i supplied a landline number. I'm thinking they were trying to play a trick or something specially that after the time due for the hearing past by more then an hour i wasn't expecting a call and to be honest I thought i was in hot waters.
But as i mentioned above happy with the outcome.
Again thanks everyone X5 -
Forgive the grammar writing using my phone and im knackered half a sleep x2

One last think the reason for the strick out was not enough evidence if i can recall correctly.4

Well done. Please show us the strike out order when it arrives. Chase the court if it doesn't arrive soon.
Can you check on MCOL to confirm its status, and then take a screengrab?
You should still be able to contact the court/judge and ask for costs, but you might not get anything because that is designed to cover the expense of attending a physical hearing.
When you get the reasons for the strike out, please make a complaint to the IPC that the claim was vexatious and should never have been brought.
We are trying to get as many posters to submit complaints to the IPC as possible.
Do please complain to your MP as well about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -
Sounds like the Claimant didn't bother to attend the phone hearing or supply enough evidence so they lost. An easy hearing for you but a bit odd how it was conducted.
Maybe the court got your phone number fron yuor DQ you completed ages ago. Sounds a bit shambolic but you won!
