Ah thank you for your good wishes for dad. He seems to be doing ok - he is quite drowsy but still watching football and snooker all day. Hopefully the antibiotics and steroids will be starting to do their work. I've made some soup for his lunch tomorrow which I think he will enjoy.
MrBC has finally agreed that we do not have any vacuum bags in the garage so I bought some today. No shopping from home victory although I knew that we had already used the ones we had but had to let him do his final search. I have 3 of my mum's exquisite patchwork quilts that I want to store in the vacuum bags to keep them safe.Listed an item on EBay and another on Vinted - neither are high priced but it clears them from the house and hopefully adds a few £'s to the coffers.Sewing in the ends of Use it up Blanket number 1. I feel a bit bereft now it's finished - I've been making it for months - just a row or two a night which is very relaxing. Will start Use It Up 2 soon.2 -
What do you mean he seems okay and he's been watching footie, does he not support the same team as you 😘
Glad he's doing alright, I'm sure the meds plus soup will soon have a grand effect.
Well done on finishing the blanket and doing the listings, and allowing Mr BC some free exercise with the rummaginghttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase
