  • Thank you for your thoughts. I have no idea about the finances - probably not even dealing with owner but just managing agents. I have put several questions to them but they will not be drawn into any discussions. To be fair I'm of the opinion that the message is just not getting through to Excel and/or their staff are just incompetent as has been proved throughout.

  • Final update on a long drawn out battle. This matter went all the way to being passed to my local, nominated court for allocation of a hearing. Despite many, many reassurances from the landowners and Excel that all tickets had been cancelled we carried on filling in court papers just in case. Grouping together with others no doubt helped and we have got six tickets cancelled in total.

Well done, did you have to have a hearing or did the PPC cancel the PCNs?
  • Have been dealing with the land management company Savills and Excel directly. They don't appear to be able to follow simple instructions within Excel. Savills told Excel to cancel yet they carried on filing court papers, Savills told them again and again, I told them both again and again that they agreed to cancel. Long waiting in between each stage when you think it has gone away and then you get a notice to defend, fill that in telling court has been cancelled, complain again, DQ from the court, fill it in (just in case), complain again; get reassured it has been cancelled again, wait, get letter saying been passed to local court, complain, etc etc. Today have a letter from Excel with a copy of the court cancellation - so did the others with tickets. Total madness.

Hopefully Savills will remember this when the Excel contract comes up for renewal.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Another Excel one bites the dust!  And hopefully the contract for that site, as well!

    Nicely done.

Who did you contact at Savills? I have tried to contact them on 3 different emails on their contact us page. I’ve sent about 8 emails and I’ve not received one response.
