Reporting for July with another bumper month. Not my highest, but I have paid for a holiday and MOT this month. At the start of July I had the full amount needed for my house deposit, so just waiting for the paperwork to get going now.

Haven't seen @slowlyfading for a while, hope you are OK.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

Is it took late to join? I would like to save 3k by the end of the year. It is a bit of a stretch, but I am hoping to be able to do it. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
A holiday? What is this thing of which you speak?!KeepOnKnitting said:Reporting for July with another bumper month. Not my highest, but I have paid for a holiday and MOT this month.

Yes, I hope all is well with Slowly. She has a busy life with a young family, so I expect summer hols following on from home schooling is quite full-on. Best wishes to her

Apologies for the VERY delayed updates - life has been incredible hectic and I don't seem to be able to juggle all the plates successfully. The reason why I haven't been around is:
- Trying to homeschool and entertain a two year old is nearly impossible
- Working from home combined with point number 1...!
- We've been on holiday for a week
- I have launched my first physical product which took a lot of time behind the scenes (see here for that!)
- I have been trying to keep on track with YouTube which also takes a lot of time
- I have been featured in two national newspapers this week which has been bonkers!

I have done some updates on the spreadsheet and will do some more tomorrow - I have two young boys who do not like me to sit at a laptop and ignore them. I will do it - promise!
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Wow, well done Slowly! There's no hurry to update here, our savings are still in our pots whether they're showing on the spreadsheets or notslowlyfading said:Apologies for the VERY delayed updates - life has been incredible hectic and I don't seem to be able to juggle all the plates successfully. The reason why I haven't been around is:- Trying to homeschool and entertain a two year old is nearly impossible

That's one of the reasons I don't include shares in my calculations or the value of any property. It is only when I realise them by selling or I receive income from dividends that I include anything.Wentthedaywell? said:I'm going to reduce the amount I reported earlier in the week as shares are on their way down again
Will adjust next month up or down!

I was thinking exactly the same - I don't think my nerves could stand it if I was monitoring S&S ISA values the whole time. So I just report money I physically move into savings/investments each month.Gizmo70 said:
