Reporting £1895.17 for May. Like everyone else - no meals out, no trips, no pub, no shopping - just the basics.
WFH I've saved £100 on petrol, but on the flip-side we are using Asda click&collect for groceries, rather than risking Aldi, and spend has increased by £80. The waistline has also increased a fair bit!
We also had to pay for expensive flights back from getting caught in Spanish lockdown on holiday - ouch. All remaining holiday plans this year on-hold now though so that will add money back into the pot.
    Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.
  • Number 43 reporting £1483.65. Benefiting from lockdown so no social spends and more intense rota at work meant slightly higher pay. Would still prefer life was back to normal though.
    Spreadsheet updated.

£578.43 for May, LISA bonus didn't arrive! Also with being stuck in the house 24/7 I've had plenty of time to remember all the things I've being getting around to getting/updating, so a disproportionately larger spend.

Next month should have a LISA bonus, so hopefully will get me back on track.

hi all, no. 10 reporting for both April and May - my apologies for the very late update for April but it's been a hectic month. For April I can report a measly £437.71 and for May a bumper £3,260.03 (April I finished off paying for some flights I took in March, plus had plumbing repairs). That brings my total for the year so far to £7,175.20. Happy with that!

£437 is by no means measly! If I think back to a year ago I would have been so happy to have that amount in a savings account! The most important thing is just to keep plodding along - it soon builds up!
