Thank you she really did. I’m somewhat bereft now as I’ve had to drop the children at their dads for 3 weeks. Trying to not think about how much I miss them already. So I did the workout this morning, in a weighted vest. But my body absolutely did not want to play. So tried my best but wasn’t amazing. I know it’s through lack of sleep and poor diet. My body is crying out to be fed properly, I Eat an awful lot of toast as it’s quick and easy, but my body is just saying no to that right now. I sometimes dip in and out of Veganism for months at a time, as it makes me feel so much better as I’m forced to eat more fruit and veg. But then life seems to get in the way and I end up just going back to eating rubbish again as it’s easier and cheaper, I have to think a lot harder about vegan meals and it takes a lot more planning and I can’t always get what I want from the shops. So I’m going to try and eat well, maybe vegan maybe not depending. I’ve started today without coffee just tea and made a smoothie. I popped to the coop for some more fruit and veg as the children have eaten it all already! Thank goodness for My Tesco order on Friday.Children had porridge with fruit, and toast, OH had toast too. I had a banana, as was a bit too sad to eat with the children going back to their dads. We’ll
have leftovers from yesterday’s picnic for lunch, mostly carrot sticks and hummus for me and some yummy salad I forgot to use.
and bbq with salad and potatoes for dinner.I’m just sitting in the sun writing this, I’m going to put some washing on in a bit and get ready for our bike ride in a bit.Hope you’re all ok and enjoying bank holiday.3 -
Hope you're enjoying your bank hol missymoo.
Mr FTD and I were only saying earlier how we should try and eat some more wholesome foods, too many carbs are making us feel podgy and sluggish, also tempted to try some plant based foods...which we've not really done before.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

Hope you're not too sad about the kids going to their dads. Try and do something to cheer yourself up today

Hey findingthisdifficult. A plant based diet is good, it gave me more energy and I felt far less sluggish, I think a lot of that was because I drank less coffee as soya milk isn’t good in coffee and I ate less bread, as toppings were difficult for toast etc, so consequently ate more beans and potatoes for carbs and tofu and loads of salads and veg. Frozen banana ice cream is amazing.WhyseaEm thanks so much for stopping by, I’ve had a nice day, we went out on the bike and went to the seaside. Now I’m home and just chilling on the bed in the spare room with the cat curled up on me, just looking at recipes on YouTube for healthy veganness. OH is on the phone working and we still need to program for tomorrow. So can’t relax properly until that’s done. And forgot need to be up at 6 as have the 6.30am
workout today at home Tomorrow, along with the 0930! I’m def going to be tired! Need to make sure I don’t reach for the coffee Or sugar fixes because I’m so tired!Didn’t manage to get any washing done but I can get most of it done tomorrow, have 2 baskets to sort most of which is mine. And 3 baskets to put away. Again, a job for tomorrow I think.
Going to treat myself to a midsommer murders later on, it’s my guilty pleasure! I’ll have a look at prices etc on the Tesco app whilst I watch to try and come up with a vegan/healthy eating plan whilst still feeding OH meat! Thanks for stopping by x5 -
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all ok, I’ve been up since 5.50 as had a 6.30am class to do from home then another one at 0930. Am more than a little tired so might go for a little sleep in a bit.I’ve had some Rice Krispies and OH made scrambled egg on toast, love him. I also had a fruit smoothie from yesterday and am currently drinking decaf coffee. Feel so much better for not drinking Caffeine in coffee. Just need to keep Up with drinking water. Going To have some more fruit and yoghurt in a bit.Have changed the bedding and that’s on the line, have more washing to do but am so exhausted from all the exercise. Will sleep in a bit, have so many things I want to achieve but today I have no energy for any of it! But it will get better I’m sure, no headaches so far today either which is a bonus.I’ve been watching videos on YouTube, on cheap shopping hauls and how to live on £/$40 a month etc. So I’m going to go back to looking at my cheaper food plan that I talked about before. Tonight I’ll have leftover salad and potatoes for dinner and OH will have YS ready meal cottage pies that are in the fridge.Hope you’re all ok.2

Hi Missy, I can thoroughly recommend the domestic gothess website for great vegetarian/vegan recipes. Her dahl is to die for and easy to make, freezes really well too. Good luck x2

Finally sitting down after the evening class. I’m currently eating leftover salad, potatoes and sausages, so nice!
i have a question, I have leftover banana bread and sausages and sausage rolls, can I freeze them? I really don’t want to waste them.Feel really grumpy for some reason, I’m super tired, not had coffee and not really achieved much today and generally just feel a bit bleugh.
Still working on my cheap menu plan.1 -
Yes, you can freeze all of them.
I expect it is the caffeine withdrawal causing the grumpiness - I got headaches and grumpiness when I cut it out. Now I restrict myself to mornings only (2-3) and lots of water, and occasionally very weak homemade cordialSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
