I hope writing this out and seeing just how far you have come gives you some relief. Once the roof is sorted you will be right back at it! x

Great summary @Poppy1984 & hopefully this has helped you. Once the roof is sorted you'll be right back on track with the debt busting as well as being safe in the knowledge your home is secure, there's a lot to be said for that too. Think of it as a small detour, you've got this 💪
Thank you @DancingInTheRain yes it definitely helped to have it all listed out. Actually feel like I have achieved quite a lot. Thank you, a small detour indeed.

Thank you @FootyFanDan It has actually helped me see how far I've come! Yes I actually got a few more quotes and have been quoted quite a lot less than the original cost for the roof repairs so things are looking a bit brighter!

    Hey @welshspendthrift 👋
Aw I don't think it's inspiring but thank you for your kind words, yes the spending tracker is free. I also cancelled sky and only kept broadband at the start of my debt busting, I watch catch up tv and Netflix (logging into a friends account who let me use it for free bless them)

I really love prolific, you could always send them a message and ask why they were rejected, at least you'd know for future surveys.

    Thank you @Lookafterthepennies2020
yes it did make me feel better writing it all down. I completely agree with you, family bailed me out a couple of times when my debts were much smaller and I didn't learn a thing just went on to build them back up again.
I have learnt so much from this experience and when my debts have been paid I will never go back to living the way I did before, i couldn't!

It's natural to just want the debt gone but at least its going in the right direction. I have often felt alone on this debt free journey in RL but when I open up to others I find far more of them have issues than I would have ever thought. So stop beating yourself up. Think Jungle Book and accentuate the positive...
I think you're right there @savingholmes more people IRL are probably in more debt than what they care to share as money is still such a taboo subject!!

The summary is a great idea and shows how far you have come. You have paid off around 55% of the debt, have emergency savings and pots of money earmarked for things. That is a great achievement from where you were. Keep going.
