Pay day has been and my next loan payment has been made, taking my loan and total debt amount down to £18,197.
I'd love to over pay by £198 this month to bring it below £18,000 before the next loan payment is due (16th Jan) I don't think I'll manage it with it being Xmas and there so much going on but I'll try my best.
I felt a bit better when I got my total debt below £20,000 my next goal is to get it below £15,000 I feel like that will be a bit more of a manageable amount.
I'm so impatient I just want to be debt free NOW it feels so far away and so out of reach at the moment.19-02-18 Total Debt £30,322

i understand totally. I paid off 24,00 in 1 year and 10months and it was hard and I felt low sometimes. What helped me was to create a sod it/treats fund. Without that treat fund I don't think I would have made it. Good luck and well done on your achievements so far.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I don't believe it! I've just received £20 compensation for something I didn't think I'd get so I've paid it straight off my loan.

Thank you for the message, I love the idea of a "sod it" treat fund! How did you decide how much and how often to save for that?
Wow well done that's an amazing achievement!19-02-18 Total Debt £30,322

Just received £40 cash back from Quidco that I got when I changed broadband providers in July and had only just cleared so I've paid it straight off my loan! So that's just another £131.53 to find before 16th Jan.
I really find writing in this diary focuses my mind.19-02-18 Total Debt £30,322
