Spendy days are good though, shopaholicnumber1, don't you think? Just as long as they're thought-out spendy days where there's a purpose and, as you say, it's worth it. It's the mindless habitual spending that is bad (I think) xx Well done on NSD 8!:T:T

My car will now be ready for pickup tomorrow (sorry this saga goes on and on!), but that means I won't be spending anything today so it's now 9/15 for me.0

Hi everyone,
I'm still on 6/12 NSD as yesterday and today were spend days.
Yesterday, Mr van could no longer resist the lure of aldis' cheap veg, so I have been busy blanching, freezing and munching my way through that.
We have just returned from a local town to see their lovely Xmas lights display, and as I cannot resist a chazzer, I bought a cd of frank sinatra duets for £1.50; so I'm crooning along to that:D
But I'm hoping that tomorrow and Thursday will be nsd so fingers crossed.
Cathybird, it will be lovely to have your car back in tip top condition:)0 -

I'm on 6/12! So I'm half way.
And between the 20th-31st I should only have one or two spend days (as I'll be spending it with either my family or my OH's) so looking to meet if not beat my target this month! phew!Well done on the NSD Delta13:T:T Re the early mornings, I'm sure you probably do this anyway and it's just a thought but I find it saves me a lot of time in the morning if I get things ready the night before - I pack a lunchbox and stick it in the fridge overnight, and put my laptop and anything else I need in my bag. With me it's more that I tend to wake up pretty slowly though! I don't know how you do 5ams, especially at this time of year, I'd find it really tough.
It wasn't even that I was forgetting my lunch, just that I'd forget other little things, like making a list before going shopping and then having to go out again another day to collect the forgotten item. You're right, early mornings starts this time of year are tough! Thank god it's my last week of getting up at 5am until late February!Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
