Seems a poor reason to opt to pay 15p/minute for calls instead of 3p/minute.

    Or even 1p/minute.;)

With 1p mobile you have to top up £10 every 120 days so a short call every month could cost you £2.50!

I'd suggest also reporting Neil49's post as containing spam and hopefully it too will get removed...
  • Yes 321 from Three.....but........

Next new handset will support Wi-fi Calling as current one doesn't.

I wasn't happy when their Three in Touch app stopped being supported last year.

It's good to be able to make and receive calls via Wi-fi when there is no mobile signal as is often the case on holiday in remote cottages in Scotland.
    Never trust a financial institution.

Still studying at the University of Life.

Well, nothing is stopping you with your current phone.

There is plenty of choice of other providers over wifi, or even via mobile data, with cheaper rates than 3 pence a minute

Interestingly, I have just managed to activate an O2 Classic PAYG SIM that I've just bought on a well known auction site for 99p, and managed to put £10 of credit on it.

My wife's old emergency Nokia (kept in her car) was on Orange/EE on their PAYG but, because we didn't use it for 6 months, they cancelled the number and kept the credit.

I was under the impression that you couldn't sign up to Classic anymore, but it looks like you still can if you buy one of these old SIMS.

There seem to be plenty for sale at the moment.

If you read my earlier post you will clearly see that I have deleted the ebay item number from the quoted message rendering his post useless.

You obviously didn't see that I had specifically deleted the item code from the post and replaced it with XXXXXXXXXXXX.
  • Probably better off get a cheap SIMO deal on a rolling 30 day contract, like the iD Mobile offer for £4 a month.

Considering with PAYG you still have to top up and make calls every few months. There is no true set and forget PAYG option.
