Still looking at my budgets to decide on my target but hoping it will be the rest of the mortgage £18500
Thanks

Alright, without further ado:
Happy New Year everyone, and a proper welcome to the 2020 challenge! Wishing you all the best for the new year, not just financially :heart2:
Everything should be up to date now, so maybe have a quick look at the spreadsheet and see if I've missed anything, or made a mistake somewhere.
Our target is currently at a respectable £547,169.48. A special shout-out also to Urbanshyne, mossypne and ilselm for kicking off 2020 in style, with some very early overpayments
Edited to add: Lomcevak just snuck in with another early OP - well done to you too0 -
Happy New Year everyone
Having done some calculations, my target for this year is to reduce the mortgage balance down to £17000. In order to achieve this, taking into account my regular monthly payment, Interest is calculated (and shows on my online banking, increasing the mortgage balance) daily but I estimate that I will need to overpay by £981, so could I amend my target to this please julicorn? (With the proviso that if my calculations are inaccurate (:o) I might need to adjust this towards the end of the year.)
A regular OP of £50 will be included in the direct debit with my regular monthly payment, which goes on 1st of each month
So that’s January kicked off with an initial OP of £50! :j
