We have agreed all terms but there is property to divide so will need a clean break order
Be careful with online companies, they tend to give a low cost initial figure then bump it up with extras so you often pay more than a local solicitor
I did my own divorce in scotland - no kids and did the financial with an online company that was useless and overcharged then had to complain and get the amount reduced, an friend that was a retired legal secretary helped with the complaintMortgage start Oct 12 £104,500

Have a look on Wikivorce, they offer a fixed price consent order if you can agree everything first. you can file the divorce forms yourself so don't need anyone for thatAug 24 - Mortgage Balance £242,040.19

Still ploughing through preparation for a consent order here. Not sure how long it will take as it doesn't look at the moment like the ex will engage with the process.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Theres nothing really to agree - we've only got pensions and there isn't much in them. In fact I still have the logins to his PensionBee!£5000 left to pay on credit cards, down from 40k!!0 -
If only someone had mentioned pension sharing back with either divorce one or two. I would be living in the lap of luxury now. But the best thing that happened to me was a disconnection from them. The worst thing about the second one was the having to go & bank the maintenance cheque every month, he was supposed to do it by SO, but then that would release control over me. I'm not sure how I would deal with having a pension from either of them which made me feel subjected to them again. Actually I think I mean subjugated (sp) again.0
