Thanks for that,but was is the point of buying a 4k tv if you do not have access to any streaming service,do you know when progams will be transmitted in 4k to the genral public?
There is 4K content out there (streaming services/Sky/blurays/game consoles) but regular freeview is way off of 4K and maybe it'll never be available at all. There's only a handful of freeview channels available in regular HD.
Honestly if you're someone who doesn't have some sort of subscription service then 4K OLED TVs probably aren't for you anyway. They're for people who want the very best quality they can get. For the others who aren't too fussed about image quality there are plenty of standard TVs out there.0 -

In any case, it's hard to buy a quality TV these days which is not 4K. That's how technology marketing works, there is always the next new development on the horizon...For the others who aren't too fussed about image quality there are plenty of standard TVs out there.0
