    Morning all

    Well done Pixie :T:j:T:j :staradmin

Well done Round - quite a list already done!

    I have
    - cooked breakfast (yes, bacon and eggs)
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - filled DW and WULTDPA anything that doesn't go in the DW
    - showered and dressed
    - S&S'd bathroom
    - dealt with a horrid piece of paperwork (annual return and review) which has such confusing and illogical instructions that I have wasted more hours than I care to think, trying to work out what is required and where to send each file  I shall give feedback on the process and point out all the inconsistencies in the instructions!
    - taken Rosie for a walk
    - received details of another NHS apoointment for me, in addition to 2 more for DH :(:(:(

We now have to go to the horse piddle for DH's xray, then we're doing the final part of my birthday (afternoon tea out)
Choir tonight to finish me off...

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx

    Evening all

Paid stuff done, I managed to find some GUAG so decided not to do the shop after work. Instead I have...

Stripped the bed, put bedding in to wash and remade with fresh linen
Hoovered and dusted the bedroom and office
    Scrubbed the bathroom
    Mopped the bathroom floor
    Emptied upstairs bins
Emptied, washed, dried and refilled litter trays
Sorted a pile of paperwork on desk, flung some, filed some and shredded some!
Recycled some magazines that I have been rereading,

I have about another 30 mins before I need to start supper so am going to see what else I can get done in that time!

    Back later!!

Today I had a little chat with a little person about describing the weather as 'bloody cold'. I give them one chance to use an inappropriate word, we agree it's not for school and we won't use it again ;). He was right though :rotfl:.

Coming home I could see headlights 'stuck' on the steep hill I have to drive up which water runs across...so I assumed it was icy and dangerous and rerouted.

Not much flying will happen tonight.

    Where has the week gone?
    Belated birthday wishes for Ionafan
Hugs to ASB and anyone else struggling.

It's my busiest couple of months at work, so life seems to rush around between preparing for assessments, doing them and writing the reports.
House vaguely under control although getting a bit messy in places, I'm looking forward to time for a blitz. However nearly all Christmas cards are written.
Birds devouring lots of food requiring constant refilling (but lots of fairies), luckily I got a Black Friday email from the bird food company with 20% off, plus I did it via topcashback so that's a saving.
I'm struggling a bit with health at present; most oddly after the aqua aerobics 10 days ago, I got badly aching shoulders and arms. Which is still there........if I lie flat, it feels like a knife sticking into one shoulder blade. I generally think it must be some silly strain (although it keeps me awake, not just the aching but sheer despair that it might last 3 yrs like the rotator cuff injury I have finally got rid of).....then a few times I feel almost flu-like - can you have flu aches only above the waist? I hate doctors but if it doesn't improve soon I'll have to go.

An hour ago we made the very unwelcome discovery that the washing machine has been leaking under the vinyl floor. Lots. Have taken floor up, photos for insurance and will head for the sales tomorrow. Still waiting for injured range fitter to come and install the reconditioned Stanley (like an Aga) which has been sitting in the garage for several months. Now it has a washing machine to talk to. What's the betting he suddenly has time to fit it while the floor is soaking?
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Quiet on here, hope you are all well and having a nice restorative lie in.

I’ve had a nice lie in myself, very frosty here so I am going to get showered and dressed, defrost the car and head out to do the shopping. DH will continue with the housework while I do that.

Hugs to those in need x

Frosty here too - and sunny :D woot woot

    Made my bed
    Sorted washing into loads
    Cuppa
First load has finished swishing - oops been on the laptop surfing :o

Having unearthed all the magazines yesterday I started wading through a box of paper (receipts / letters / statements etc etc etc) : file / shred / recycle. I'm going to carry on with that today - I may even empty the box (by the end of the year :o)

    Breakfast first.

    Take care

Here too - though we can see the edge of the dark cloud cover about 5 miles away, extending north and east, and it's not moving

    Me too :T
Apart from DH's present, and a couple of CS jokey bits, I haven't started buying for anyone yet

Various little bitty things done so far. Another not-so-little bitty thing to complete next, then I must hunker down and study for 2 - 3 hours before walking Rosie (by which time it will probably be freezing again).

Catch up later - have a good day, and keep warm xx

a cold and frosty one in Derbyshire, too. The posh neighbours are having an event which will be impacting traffic - hopefully by now it will have settled (that'll be the 'travelling to') traffic and I can get to Mr L and Mr M without much trouble.
