  • Oh ASB it's so tough when the other half is away so much.
I know how you feel - my hubby is working in our city this week, but staying in the hotel due to the hours he's working.

Have you got friends that can come round on an evening to keep you company? I've got friends who come and just stand in the kitchen while I tidy up (they help too, but sometimes it's just having someone else there)

Don't worry about the tv time - they'll survive....

    Morning

Hugs asb xx We're here - hope that helps xx And YL and GI xx In fact I think a dodgy group hug is required :grouphug:

Fayolle feel free to creep over here and have a virtual brew with me before you start flying :D

I'm going to set WM swishing with towels / tea towels, eat breakfast, get dressed and then come back and make a little list a la Round. It worked yesterday - and my kitchen looks and feels all the better for it.

One day at a time ladies. Five minutes at a time if necessary.

    Much love

    Happy Birthday to Ionafan

Spent last evening watching a tutorial on Publisher. Finally - I get the point of it. Y5 teacher has asked me to use it with the class this afternoon to present information inc graphics. I'm now cross with myself for not exploring it earlier. And the GDPR training was, in parts, scary.

Eating breakfast while chicken/salmon bake for lunches. WM swishing - STWA are pipe flushing and advise not using water at night.

    Hello everyone!

Happy birthday Ionafan - 21 again, how wonderful! Hope you've had a fabulous day xxx

Downstairs wetroom given a thorough scrub, bleach and disinfect. Shower trap emptied of sentient life and everything is sparkling due to liberal use of a limescale removing spray.

I had planned to blitz the dining room today but DH has been working from home most of the day, so that plan went out of the window. Still, it gave me time to do this month's accounts and start a to-do list for the remainder of this month. I doubt much will get crossed off, but at least I tried.

Big hugs for all who need them, with apologies for the whiff of farmyard animals. Life is a rough ride sometimes and can feel overwhelming often. I've got no advice for coping other than saying this time will pass and the future feels exciting. Hang in there ladies!

Fancy making chicken curry for dinner, so off to gather ingredients and create a culinary masterpiece...catch you all later x

Managed to get to The R@nge for more craft bits for Christmas Crafternoon. My class will be producing something professional!

Thank you Dizzy and everyone else for the birthday wishes. 21???? - if only! You're exactly half a century out :rotfl:

It has been an "interesting" day. I spent the morning catching up on a little bit of sleep and walking Rosie (it hadn't started raining then :D). After a small bite of lunch I took DH to the GP, who has given him stronger painkillers and is sending him for another xray, which he was able to book for this Friday because we were prepared to travel across to the other side of town, rather than go to our local horse piddle. Then I did a bit of food shopping before we went to our local GC for coffee and cake. Some of the shopping ended up on our plates this evening [nom-nom]

Flying has been minimal, but the house will get a proper clean at the weekend :D

    Happy birthday Ionafan x :bdaycake:

((Hugs)) for asb and anyone else, especially if you are feeling lonely.

Today has consisted of catching up at work, a small shop including 2 thank you gifts for friends, filling the car with petrol. Flying wise it has been wm, dw, HHI but the mountain is not conquered, dinner, s&s kitchen. Boring to write all that so apologies if you fall asleep reading that tedious list :o.

Tomorrow it is early to work for a couple of hours then I have to take DD for a couple of appointments in the big city.
