  • I'm feeling a little heartbroken :(
About an hour or so ago my cat started meaowing, so I ushered her towards the garden. She went on her bed, but then started to do a wee, so I put her in the garden while I cleaned up. She was still meaowing, so I opened the door, but she was laying on the patio :( I scooped her up in a blanket and took her straight to the vets as she was panting. Unfortunately he said there was nothing they could do. So we stayed with her while she fell asleep :( She was 19 years old, but still my baby.

Not much else to say really.... DS was with me, I have told DD1, but we haven't told DD2 yet because she is out with her BF watching Jack Whitehall and we don't want to spoil her evening. Sorry - just needed to offload somewhere....

YL, loads of GWS vibes for your DS and calming vibes for you xx

GI, sorry to hear about your much-loved cat. Our pets are so much a part of the family, and sorely missed xx

I did the dailies plus WMx3 today. Also tried to update the church website but don't have all the info I need

Thanks for kind thoughts and promises of longer days in February!
We went out this evening for a lovely meal followed by a very interesting talk :D I'm now shattered after more than an hour's drive there in the dark and wet, and another hour back - still unwinding, but hoping I will sleep better than I did last night!

    TY for Fred!!

Thanks Pigpen if my experience of thyroid problems are anything to go by I would get OH to talk to the surgery about the blood pressure, I certainly wouldnt wait for the surgery to do something.

    Catch you all later x

The surgery won't do anything because it was the hospital he was at but I am dragging him to the nurse at the surgery in a couple of weeks once his op is done.. I might have a sneaky word with his stepmother who is a clinical practitioner, see what she thinks.

I hope DS is getting some care YL.. you must be worried half daft! They never outgrow that ability to make us lose sleep however old they get do they?

Spent the day at my stepmothers visiting my sister and my niece (up from London) .. so had lots of baby snuggles .. it is so nice to hand them back!

I did de-ice the fridge.. that is the sum total of my flying today!

Today is my last day for flying this week as I'm away from tomorrow. Really need to wash the floors.

Really cross... I paid my last £24 one week as deposit for 6 panto tickets through school on 22nd January and they are saying they haven't any record of it.. I am flipping furious... I have been looking forward to this all year, I LOVE the panto! I am so sick of that school office.. they don't give receipts for anything, the onlinepayment thing is totally unstable and you log in once and you can not ever log in again.. it is so annoying. OH is arguing with the office... they do NOT want me to go in!

    Morning :hello:

Hugs for YL and GI and anyone else who needs or wants a hug xx

The week is not going as planned - do they ever? The options to run away or to hide under a stone are not practical so I'll plod on. I think 2019 has caught up with me :( I do hope 2020 is easier - anyone got a flylady magic wand they can wave? ... it may be craftily disguised as a feather duster :D

I didn't have a clue what I was looking for in Mr A's yesterday - but I came out with presents for DS, his GF, my Dad, DS's dad and DS's dad's wife (it's complicated but it works :o) oh, and there might have been one or two 'to me from me' gifts that fell in to the trolley :D

Lunch with L. and presents exchanged. plus arranged to meet up in a couple of weeks time for coffee! Weather permitting!

Dad called - he's ill (struggling to breathe) and back on antibiotics for the third time. He doesn't usually call but he 'sprang' Barbara on me on Sunday  and I think he needed some reassurance that it was ok.

Woken up with Mr Headache again - drat! I thought he'd left the building. I've made my bed and had a cuppa. Need to get dressed as I have an appointment at the hairdresser's at 10 am.

When I come home I'll make a list on here and fly. There I've said it so now I have to do it - right?

I will put out the rubbish and feed the birds on my way out the door.

    Have a good day

It is very poor practice of them not to issue receipts - when I stood in for someone in the office I had to manually write sequentially-numbered receipts in a carbon copy book. Hated it. But it got done.

    YL - hope DS improves.

    GI - hugs.

Off today but need to go in later for INSET twilight.

Came home from SW with a bag of fruit. In two weeks I have lost 8.5 lbs. Need to keep that plate spinning.

    Well done Valli :T:T:T

Pigpen, that is appalling and worth a complaint to the local authority. Does your bank statement show that the money has been paid over?

So far this morning I have
    - S&S'd bathroom after my shower
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - tidied the LR and BRs
    - loaded and started WM and DW
    - eaten breakfast
    - hung up almost-dry washing from yesterday to air
    - chased up a JPG file that I need from a charity
    - emailed DS1
    - taken a phonecall from DH's cousin who is coming to visit us next week
    - researched something interesting that last night's speaker said (I had remembered it correctly :D)
    - made a decision on a purchase which is pounds not pennies.

I am now going out to work for a couple of hours.
This afternoon it will be dog walk and my exercise class.
This evening I shall be doing more paperwork.

    More (((hugs))) to GI.
More (((hugs))) and calming vibes to YL and GWS wishes to your DS.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to anyone else in need xx

My hair now looks lovely - and I always enjoy a chat and a giggle with S, my hairdresser :D

Called at PO and paid rent, paid Council Tax, and bought two birthday cards for next month.

Called at Mr C00p to pick up meds for colds and flu - DS has woken up full of cold this morning :(.

Set WM swishing while I ate lunch with DS.

    Round 1:
    soak a bowl of pots
    recycle cardboard box
    laundry shuffle
    WUDUPA bowl of pots

Now - do I listen to Elvis or Roy O. while I fly? Elvis methinks
