  • Morning all, not sure what happened to Tuesday and Wednesday, but no progress was made. I don't think the house went backwards so that's a good thing.

    Up, dressed, bed made

And father Christmas has just arrived! They have just turned up to install my new pellet stove in the playroom so I'm so excited. I will have a warm kitchen tonight! Then decorators are back in to paint next week.

Off to make some breakfast and coffee,
  • Morning.

    Morning all

Nearly the weekend, minimal flying done here yesterday, between paid stuff, me having a cold and DH not being well either there’s not a lot of energy left!

Today not likely to be much better here. I’m just dragging myself through the paid stuff, I have set the WM going so will fling that on the airer once done.

Have a lovely day all, belated birthday wishes, dodgy hugs, get well soon vibes, sticks and spoons all available for those in need x

    Morning

GWS BadCat and Mr BadCat xx

Zoooooom - there goes Wishing flying by :D

This is my first day of leave without plans so I'm taking a 'do what you feel like doing' day. A 'recharge my batteries' day :D I am washed, dressed, breakfasted and coffeed. I've made my bed, taken up two pile of clean clothes for DS to put away in his room, WM x1 is now draped on the airer. I've fed the birds and put out the recycling. One bin has been brought back in to the yard, the other has just been emptied so I'll have a wander out and bring that in too.

    Have a good day

Well, I've been sorting laundry....for hours....:(

Huge downside to having a septic tank is that once groundwater rises to a certain height, water from the house cannot drain away. Wshing piled up while we were battling with pumps. So, now it's washed and waiting to be ironed/folded etc. All six tonnes of it

Just picking up the boys from school then back to it...

  • Good evening :D

Thanks everyone for the hugs, etc. re my little kitty.

Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Ionafan
Big ((hugs)) to ASB - remember you are not alone, we are always 'here' if you need to 'talk' or just vent.

I had a day at the paid stuff - my Wednesdays & Thursdays are quite hard going at the moment, as I have look after a little boy with autism and a whinging baby. The LB is adorable, but the whinging gets you down after a while! Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it is quite wearing and the LB finds it hard to cope with the noise too :( Luckily, they are not long days, but long enough!

I am only working for 3 hours tomorrow, so I could have a catch up day.... maybe :rotfl: I do need to make some headway with the Christmas shopping. I may wrap up what I have, and make a list of what I need to get. DH & I are going to DD1s for the weekend and we will be doing some festive shopping up there. It would be good to have some sort of idea what to get!

Flying wise today I have emptied the DW & run it through a clean cycle before refilling, 2 loads in the WM and have been dried. That's about it!
