There are various ideas for leather furniture and for white shoes but I didn't find anything specific when I searched. I'll send a link to Quackers as she knows her stuff when it comes to shoes.

    But not white shoes:o :o:o

Seriously, white are so hard to keep clean.

The first thing to do would be to spray them with a protector spray. That will make them water and stain resistant so if you do mark them then it will be easier to clean.

If you do get any marks on them just use a nuetral leather cream to clean the marks off.

If they get scuffed and the white comes off then its really hard to restore this.

White leather is usually a horrible 'grey' underneath so although there are lots of white polish's & creams they are not usually that great at covering any scuff or scrape marks as the nasty grey bit just keeps showing through.

White leather really is the hardest colour EVER to polish.

    Good luck! :)

I dont think you are. Lots of people do it.

There are 2 risks to that.

One is that they may shrink slightly - then the leather will all pucker up.

The other is that the soles may fall off!! Honest. Sometimes the heat of the wash will unstick the sole from the upper. Not good if they were expensive :rotfl: :rotfl:

For any dirty marks, I use a small amount of soap and water on a cheap cloth (that is thrown away afterwards). Then I just use normal trainer foam cleaner in an aerosol can. Works for me.

I put mine in the washing machine - there's even a special programme for them on my cheap old Indesit!
I usually sit them on top of the hot water tank overnight to dry them off - job done!
