    Happy New Year Gang!!

I never received a reply to my Subject Access Request.

However i did receive a letter from Gladstones along with the claimant's Directions Questionnaire. The claimant has elected to mediate in an attempt to settle the matter amicably. What do you advise as next steps?

    Appreciate your help! :)

    Thx

Give the PPC seven days to comply then report their failing to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Didn't items 7 and 8 in the list in post #4 above go some way towards addressing that?

Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread will help you.

Hi All hope you're all well and safe in this crazy situation.  I have received a General Form of Judgement or Order stating my case was suitable for mediation - which I didn't accept. Witness Statement and evidence is due by Friday and Gladstones have asked if I will accept via email. I'm assuming I can then send mine to them via email? I was going to get it hand delivered to the court.
I have also received a 'Without Prejudice' email offering to reduce by £70 (Haha!)
Any suggestions on next steps other than submitting witness statements? Do i just ignore the without prejudice email?
Appreciate any help ASAP - Thanks All x :)

You can go back with a counter offer - perhaps of £0.  From where did the General Form of Judgment or Order come?  Was it CCBC?  Did you file a DQ and on that did you reject mediation?  I would imagine the system is trying to avoid court cases where possible.

Thanks for your quick response Le Kirk!  Form came from local county court where case will be held.  Yes I filed  DQ and rejected Mediation previously however it says the court believes it's suitable for mediation and to accept within 7 days which I didnt.

Probably worth contacting the local court by return e-mail then and (politely) rejecting mediation as per your DQ.

You cannot counter claim unless you did so when you filed your defence. Did you?

as forWS as the newbies thread states you send
    - to court
    -to claimant
BOTH. Hand deliver to court I'd say. This is an essential trip.
