Morning allI seem to have fallen behind already with my £1 a day so I think the best way forward for me is to put the full months £1's in the pot on payday from here on is this okay ???
Hi jen49, do it whichever way suits you, anything saved will help this time next year. Mine is virtual money; I save vouchers and loyalty points all year so that my Xmas is essentially ‘free’.
Today’s addition is courtesy of TCB, I’ve been waiting on confirmation since October but it came too late for the 2019 total.

The workshop was ok on Sunday, now have my wreath on the front door and now I know how to do it, I'll be making one next year too
Didn't manage to do any shopping this weekend so I'll have to do that Friday morning before I take my grandkids ice skating.

I have two left to get. One is for my sister. The other is for my husband but we have a rule of spending only £10 on each other.
Hubby and I go shopping on Christmas eve and have to buy as many useful things for each other as we can with that £10, which must also include the cost of the card. As it's Christmas eve, many shops start discounting their stock to clear them out - that means bargains are everywhere. Of those items, one must be something that can be eaten and one has to be something that can be read. After that, the remaining money can be spent on anything - as long as it is useful! And all receipts must be kept so no cheating. We've done this for the past 18 years. I usually manage to buy him 6 or 7 items with my £10 funds so aiming for that again this year :j
